I am honored to join the board of the Courage Under Cancer Foundation, a mission that is deeply personal to me. Having grown up in California and moved to Arizona 20 years ago, my life’s focus has always centered on faith, family, and community. Cancer has long affected the women on my mother’s side of the family, and I witnessed its devastating impact firsthand when my sister passed away in 2013 after a five-year battle. I saw the incredible strength it took to fight the disease, but I also saw the immense stress of the financial burden it created, which left our family struggling.
This experience drives my dedication to the foundation. In my professional life as a Medicare agent, I help people navigate complex healthcare decisions, and I’ve seen how crucial it is to have proper support. I’m committed to helping alleviate the financial and emotional struggles of cancer patients and their families. As a board member, I hope to use my skills in organization and community outreach to raise awareness, attract donations, and ensure that more individuals can feel supported during their fight. It’s a privilege to be part of a movement that offers hope and relief.
